During my teens I fell in love with Hip-Hop and danced with FitKids FitTeens. I then went on to study at Sallynoggin college of further education for one year, and continued for a further two years with Bray institute of further education. During my time at both colleges I studied styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Physical Theatre and Kinesiology. I received my HND in dance. Alongside college I also took part in training urban styles with FLY dance company’s training program ran by renowned Artists Kerrie Milne and Zac Milne. I then continued my dance studies abroad in UEL University of East London where I received my BA (Hons) in Urban Dance Practice ( 2017-2018). During my time at UEL I studied Urban Dance styles including, House and Hip-hop (with Clara Bajado), and Contemporary and Dancehall. Whilst in London I got the opportunity to perform In TRIB3 , a collaboration piece between renowned Kenrick Sandy and UEL, performing the piece on the main stage at MoveIt (2018) and at Stratford Circus Theatre.
Additional note:
My goal while teaching my class is to make my students feel comfortable and confident, to give them a safe place where they can express themselves freely and train hard while still learning technique and having fun. Dance is my lifestyle, and I want to create a growing atmosphere, where your hard work and dedication pays off, and you leave the room feeling amazing.
